Before leaving Galveston for Corpus Christi, the ocean became rough. We checked the weather and nothing but Cyclone Patricia off the coast of Baja California. Did not think this would be an issue. On the way Corpus Christi, it started to rain and continued raining, at times extremely hard.

When we arrived in Corpus, we were hungry, So we headed for a restaurant recommended to us. We knew there would be challenges when we saw a guy walking across the restaurant parking lot in water up to his thigh. Museums and other venues were closed because of flooding.

The next day, the street to USS Midway cleared enough we could get in the museum and next door to the aquarium. After a couple of days, we decided we watch the rain at home in Dallas. So we started back to Dallas and it rained all the way back.
