Cathedral Grove is an old growth forest in MacMillan Park BC. Some of the Douglas-fir tree are more than 800 years old. One of them measuring more then 9 meters in circumference. A sever wind storm New Years Day in 1997 changed the look of the park forever. Toppling hundred of trees and obliterating sections of the trail. Restoration efforts are on going.
