This Thanksgiving was the first time Cate and I have had guests. One of our friends, Vera from New Mexico visited us and brought a friend. Her friend, May is a graduate student from China. This was the first time May experienced an American Thanksgiving dinner and the first time she had seen turkey. Her initial comment was “That is a really big chicken”. As unbelievable it might sound, Cate and I enjoyed the visit.
